Coastal Connect Health Information Exchange (CCHIE), a community-based health information exchange in southeastern North Carolina, received a national healthcare achievement award. Amerinet, a national healthcare solutions organization, announced the winners of its 2013 Member Achievement Awards and named CCHIE as a recipient. CCHIE was recognized in the "Community Impact and Innovation" category.
